Pubusinu mine (Fluminimaggiore, Carbonia-Iglesias Province).

Description:

Pubusinu is a lead, and zinc mine.

History:

1872: mining concession to Gonnesa Mining Company Limited.; the Manager was Carlo Marx, a german engineer.

The Company built a workers house, a workshop, and a washing station nearby Pubusinu river.

Today, Pubusinu mine is abandoned; the mine is located between beautiful woods.
