Description:

Canaglia is an iron mine.

History:

1741: iron deposit discovered by Mr. Carl Gustav Mandel and Cristian Bose.

1870: mining concession to Correboi Company.

1912: mining concession to Toscana Industrie Agricole Company; this Company built a raiway 'till Porto Torres.

1917: mining concession to ILVA.

After World War II: mining concession to Ferromin.

1964: mine was closed.

Today Canaglia mine is closed in a private area.
